We just wanted to fill you in on some of the happenings from the long winter. Pit Times are changing. The new cut off time for the pits was decided at our meeting at the beginning of the year. The new time is now 5:20 p.m., and then the drivers meeting will begin at 5:40 p.m to protect yourself this is what you need: speed radar detector!. One class each week will pack the track in a rotating schedule. The cut off time for everyone is 5:20, but the class packing that night must be unloaded and ready to start packing at 5:20. The winner’s of the previous week’s race does not have to pack the track if their class is the one packing on that week. Failure to be on time and packing will result in starting in the back of the pack. This rule will be in effect opening day.

Forest County Potawatomi will again be the major sponsor at the track, along with many new sponsors this year. Forest County Potawatomi will be sponsoring two dirt late model shows this year. Also we will be having a U.S.M.T.S race on June 7th. We will also be bringing back the fireworks for the forth of July weekend on Olson Fabrication/Algoma Motors night. Baylake Bank will be doing a kids coin drop on their night, and again we will be having the big wheel races (Witt Ford Night), and $1.00 burger night (Econo Foods Night). For the kids, we will also be giving away one bike each week in the grandstands. The grandstand price for adults will be changing this year from $8.00 to $9.00, the rest of the prices will stay the same. You may purchase a season grandstand pass for $135.00.

This year there will be a $10,00.00 point fund, which will be disbursed at the banquet at the end of the year. The point fund will be for the top 10 drivers in Mod radar 360, Stock, Street, and Hobby. You must be present at the banquet to receive any of the money coming to you. Also, there will be a 20 foot enclosed trailer given away at the banquet from S & B Trailer Sales, and a 355 short block motor from Extreme Enterprises. In order to be qualified to win the trailer or motor you must race at Tunderhill Raceway at least 80% of the season.
