Next Wednesday Night June 7th, The United States
Modified Touring Series will hit the Forest County Potawatomi
Thunderhill Raceway. Thunderhill will be the second stop of
three during the Wisconsin Summer Nationals. The IMCA-Style
Stockcars, Hobby Stocks, and 4 cylinders will also be racing.
Forest County Potawatomi and 105.7 WAPL are the sponsors for
the race. Start time is 6:30.
The USMTS will be running for the top prize of $2,000.
Watertown, SD’s Jon Tesch won last years event in convincing
fashion.
Fertile, Iowa’s Kelly Shryock will head into Thunderhill with
the current point lead in the USMTS standings. Mark Noble,
Tommy Myer, Ryan Ruter, and Jason Friesen round out the top
five.
The IMCA-Style Stockcars will be the one of the supporting
classes for the evening. The Stockcars will be going for
$500.00 to win the feature event.
The IMCA-Style Hobby Stocks will be running for $250.00 top
prize. The four cylinders will also be in action with $100.00
to win.
