a clean sweep in the Bombers. The win was his first career
feature win.

had won his feature on Friday at Chilton and finished second
to Brian Belleau at Thunderhill.

4-Cylinder #2 Kenny Malcore, Milwaukee, mixed it up with #17

third of 2006. |
Clint Forestner led the opening few laps of the IMCA Hobby
Stock Feature. A series of cautions kept the field all
bunched up. The contest went from lap four all the way to
the checkers with no cautions. Forestner was able to keep a
good five car length lead on the rest of the competition.
Jeff Lautenbach and Eddie Anschutz battled for second the
rest of the way. Coming to the white flag, Lautenbach spun
giving Anschutz second. Forestner held on and picked up his
first career IMCA Hobby Stock Feature win. Anschutz was
second followed by Jarred Van Lannen, Terry Therrien, and
Jerry Scray Jr.
Jesse Behnke in only his second trip to Thunderhill set the
pace early in the Street Stock Feature. Behnke continued to
lead until Von Eytcheson grabbed the lead with a pass on the
inside on lap eight. Eytcheson led through a couple of
cautions and picked up his second win of the season. He was
followed by Scott Reinhardt, Aaron Thornton, Behnke, and
John Sternard.
Gary Reinhardt led the opening lap of the IMCA Stockcar
Feature before getting tangled with Kevin Charles to bring
out a caution. Mark Derenne inherited the lead and would
continue to hold on to the lead despite heavy pressure from
Tony Bouche and Bernie Reinhardt. Bouche had several runs to
the inside but Derenne would slam the door on Bouche. With
the two going for the lead at the bottom of the track,
Reinhardt made his move to the outside. A caution with four
laps to go bunched the field up. Reinhardt was able to get a
good restart and grab the lead using the highside of the
track. Reinhardt cruised to his first win of the season
followed by Consy winner Craig Paque, Tony Bouche, Dave
Bouche, and Matt Junio.
Chris Derenne led the IMCA Modified Feature from the drop of
the green flag. Derenne held court on the bottom side of the
track with Shawn Kilgore moving to the topside. Kilgore was
able to stay right on the outside of Derenne and made the
pass on lap ten. Kilgore continued to lead while Jared
Siefert made his way to second. Kilgore started to protect
the low line. Siefert was able to reel in Kilgore but ran
out of time. Kilgore won his first career IMCA Modified
Feature followed by Siefert, Jeremy Jacobs, Benji Lacrosse
and Chris Derenne.
Brian Belleau led every lap in making the night a clean
sweep in the Bombers. The win was his first career Feature
win.
Tom Zastrow picked up his third Feature win in the 4
Cylinders.
Steve Bergdorf won the Milwaukee Stockcar Auto Racing
Association Vintage Feature event.
