Bay, WI. - Thunderhill Speedway track officials have announced that a
car show and practice day will be held at the third-mile, clay oval on Saturday, April 23.
The car show and practice are open to all drivers in any divisions in Wisconsin. All cars
participating in practice MUST HAVE MUFFLERS. Starting at 10 a.m. drivers may bring their
cars to the track for safety inspection. From 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. the car show will take
stage in front of the grandstands. Trophies for the best appearing cars in the IMCA
modified, IMCA Stockcar, IMCA Hobbystock, Street Stock, Thunderbombs, 4 cylinder and
go-kart classes will take place at 3 p.m.
The practice session will start at 3 p.m. There will be a $10.00 pit entry fee for all of
the drivers and each crew member. The track asks that drivers bring their sponsor
information forms to the track with them. The concession stand will be open throughout the
day. The practice session will be free to all spectators.
The Forest County Potowatomi Thunderhill Speedway opener is scheduled for Saturday night,
April 30 at 6 p.m. IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stocks, IMCA Hobbystocks, and Street Stocks will
compete weekly. The 4 cylinder and the NEW Thunderbomb class will alternate nights
throughout the 2005 season. In addition, a $10,000 point fund will be awarded at the
annual awards banquet. Thunderhill Speedway is located at the John Miles Fair Park in
