June 9, 2005; Sturgeon Bay,
WI. - Forest County Potawatomi
proudly brings the Wisconsin Dirt Late Model Association Saturday night June 11th
to the Thunderhill Raceway. The Budweiser
IMCA Modifieds, Wulf Brothers IMCA stockcars, Mays Sport Center IMCA Hobby stocks,
and Dairy Queen Street Stocks classes will also be in action. No 4 cylinder racing. Racing will get underway at 6 p.m.
This
is the third year for WDLMA special event. In
2003s event, Terry Casey won the inaugural race.
In the 2004 twin 25s event, Russ Scheffler and Nick Anvelink each won the
feature races. The late models will be
running a 30 lap event with the winner taking home $1500.00.
Some
of the drivers already coming are Russ, Rick, and George Scheffler, Tim Lemirande,
Pete Parker, and Luke Roffers. We are
really excited about the late model special. The
drivers are going to give the fans a great race. The
track has been in excellent condition thanks to Merle Lisowe and Paul Robertoy.

The
Forest County Potawatomi Thunderhill Raceway will be giving away a West Coast Chopper Big
Wheel to a child eight and under. Children
must be present to win. Hats, T-shirts, and
Sweatshirts will be on sale at the concession stand.
Dan and Mary Lewis will have all of your favorite racing merchandise in their
trailer in front of the grandstand.
The
