Todd Dart of Algoma took the lead on lap
four and won his second Budweiser IMCA Modified feature of the season; Dart took home an
extra $500.00 from his sponsor Dairy Queen for picking up the win.

Art Siefert led the opening three laps
of the Budweiser IMCA Modified feature, before #3 Todd Dart used a high-line pass for the
lead. Dart took the win, $500.00 extra, and the point lead with his Modified win.
First year mod drivers #10 Paul Parker
and #22x David Werbelow look good on the
clay oval this year. Werbelow shows in 12th place in points, pretty awesome for this
18-year old from Shawano!

For the second time this month, #10
Chris Derenne was able to congratulate his son, Scott (#98) in the winners circle
following each respective drivers heat race wins. Both drivers are neck-in-neck in
points as well.
Shawn Kilgore now holds a 12-point
advantage in the chase for the IMCA Stock Car championship points battle for 2005 after
another feature win last Saturday night, his fourth of the year at Thunderhill.
Wulf Bros. IMCA Stock Car Feature winner
#90 Shawn Kilgore, Kewaunee, won his
fourth feature event at Thunderhill Raceway on Saturday night after passing #8 Charlie
Kroll, Algoma.
#11v Von Eytcheson was able to drive past #29 Scott Iverson in Saturday nights
feature event. Scott Reinhardt, Baileys Harbor along with Mike Pierrard, Green Bay,
rounded out the top three feature finishers.

Denmarks Tom Brumlic made it
two-in -a-row in the past two weeks of feature races at Thunderhill. Brumlic is currently
third in points with a six point spread
between the top four drivers in this competitive class.
Mays Sports Center IMCA Hobby
Stocks went three wide for the lead in Thunder- hills feature event. Sturgeon
Bays #56 Jeff Lautenbach held the inside line while challenged by Zion,
Illinois #75 Tony Schlei and the duo was passed by eventual winner #40 Tom Brumlic,
Denmark.
Door County Motorsports 4Cylinder #8ts
Tyler Smith, Luxemburg, cooled off with a
Dairy Queen Blizzard with his pit crew on Saturday night after taking home his third
feature in a row for 2005. Smith holds just a slim margin in points over 2004 Champion
Kenny Malcore.
4Cylinder #9 Charlie Gross went
wheel-to- wheel with #8ts Tyler Smith in Saturdays
feature before Smith was able to get away for this third win in a row! Gross came across
the checkers with a season-high third place finish.

Shawn Kilgore won his second feature in a row in the Wulf Brothers IMCA
Stockcars; he also won Wednesday night at the USMTS show. Kilgore took the lead on lap 10
and sailed away. Von Eytcheson started in 11th, and quickly made his way to the front, to
win the 15 lap Dairy Queen Street Stock feature. Tom Brumlic picked up his second feature
win of the season in the Mays Sport Center IMCA Hobby Stocks. Tyler Smith picked up his
career high, third feature win in a row in the Door County Motorsports 4-cylinder class.
The top 4 in each class got blizzards from DQ.
Art Siefert led the opening three laps of the Budweiser IMCA Modified feature, before Todd
Dart used a high-line pass for the lead. Jay Matthias quickly made his way to second, but
had car troubles a couple of laps later. Sean Jerovetz and Benji Lacrosse ran second and
third. At the halfway point of the race Jerovetz and Lacrosse caught Dart. The race
continued with Jerovetz trying the high-line, but not getting enough momentum on the top;
Lacrosse made the pass on Jerovetz with two laps to go, but was never able to make a
successful charge at Dart. Dart took the win, $500.00 extra, and the point lead with his
Modified win. Following Dart at the checkers where Lacrosse, Jerovetz, and Siefert. When
asked what he thought of his big pay day Dart responded, I was just told about five
minutes ago that I won the extra $500.00. I want to thank Dairy Queen for the nice
gesture. I actually had a setup in to run the top. My car was faster down low.
Corey Haen looked like the man to beat early on in the Wulf Brothers IMCA Stockcar
feature. Haen continued to lead all the way until lap nine, when Shawn Kilgore made the
pass down low. Craig Paque, Troy Muench, and Charlie Kroll all passed Haen when he
encountered problems. Kilgore continued to soar away from the field and left second place
for the rest of the drivers. Kilgore went on to pick up his third feature win of the
season. Following Kilgore at the line was Paque, Muench, and Kroll. The car felt
good wherever I put it. We have a big race in Marshalltown, IA this Monday and Tuesday. I
feel pretty good about my car going into the race. Shawn Kilgore on the good setup
in his car.
Johnny Sternard jumped out to the early lead in the Dairy Queen Street Stock feature
event. Sternard had about a half-straightaway lead until a bad push developed in his car.
Von Eytcheson, who started 11th in the field, quickly made his way to the front. He picked
off Sternard on lap 7 for the lead. Eytcheson took off and never looked back. Scott
Reinhardt, Mike Pierrard, and Jeremy Wiitala all passed Sternard when he went off the
track. The three cars went back and forth, with Reinhardt solidly getting second spot.
Eytcheson crossed the finish line and picked up his fifth win of the season. Reinhardt,
Pierrard, and Wiitala followed at the checkers. The track was really nice and tacky
all night. I started 11th, and didnt know if I had the right setup in, but it
worked. I want to dedicate this win to my aunt on her birthday. Von Eytcheson after
picking up his feature win.
Jeff Lautenbach led the opening five laps of the Mays Sport Center IMCA Hobby Stock
Feature. Tom Brumlic and Tony Schlei caught Lautenbach, and made their moves. Schlei ran
the middle groove and Brumlic the top side. Brumlic had this to say about his moving to
the high-line, I really thought Tony was going to go high but when he didnt I
figured Im going up there if your not. Brumlic used the top side and got good
momentum on both Schlei and Lautenbach. Brumlic took the lead, but with heavy pressure
from Schlei. Brumlic and Schlei set sail and had a very intense battle. Coming to the
white flag, Brumlic had his oil pressure gauge light come on. We had troubles in the
heat with my motor. We found water mixed in with oil. If the feature would have been 20
laps instead of 15 laps we wouldnt have finished. Brumlic won the feature
ahead of Schlei, Eddie Anschutz, Keith Kickbusch and Dave DeGrave.
Charlie Gross led the opening laps of the Door County Motorsports 4-cylinder feature,
until Tyler Smith took the lead on lap 3. Smith took off with the lead but Kenny Malcore
caught him. Malcore made a strong effort using the inside line, but had nothing for Smith.
Smith went on to win a personal best three feature wins in a row. Malcore and Gross
followed him at the line. I enjoyed winning my third feature win in a row. This race
is dedicated to my uncle.
Next Saturday Nights races will be sponsored by Lakes Gas. The IMCA Hobby Stocks
