#71 Ed Anschutz caught race leader #9 Derek Moede and made the pass using the outside line. He led the feature by five car lengths the rest of the way and picked up his third feature win of the season.

Nick Anvelink picked up $1,500.00 for his WDLMA feature win. Jay Matthias picked up his second feature win in a row, in the Budweiser IMCA Modifieds. Shawn Kilgore won the Wulf Brothers IMCA Stockcar Feature event. Eddie Anschutz also won his second feature win in a row, in the Mays Sport Center IMCA Hobby Stock Main Event. Von Eytcheson picked up his fourth feature win of the season in the Dairy Queen Street Stocks.

Von Eytcheson used a pass on Todd Polster to take the lead on lap 7 using the high side of the track. Jeremy Wiitala was able to follow suit, and passed Polster to stay right on Eytcheson’s heals. A caution on lap 5 grouped the field together once again. Eytcheson pulled away from the rest of the field at the drop of the green, and cruised away to win his fourth feature win of the season. At the line, he was followed by Wiitala, Mike Pierrard and Scott Reinhardt. "I want to thank Doc’s Harley Davidson, B.S. Rounders and Outdoors Unlimited for all of their support. "Von Eytcheson thanking sponsors for all of their support after his feature win.

B.J. Soquet led the opening five laps of the Wulf Brothers IMCA Stockcar feature, until Eugene Gregorich took control, followed by Matt Junio. Gregorich continued to lead but with heavy pressure from Junio. Shawn Kilgore and Dave Bouche where able to catch the top 2. The top 4 went single file until lap 13, when Kilgore made his move to the top side of the track. "I knew that I wasn’t going to get around the leaders using the low line; so I decided to take my car to the outside." Shawn Kilgore, when asked when he knew to go to the outside. Kilgore used the outside to first get passed Junio, then Gregorich for the lead with two laps remaining. Kilgore went on to win the feature followed by Gregorich, Junio, and Bouche.

Chris Derenne led the opening 7 laps of the Budweiser IMCA Modified feature, until the only caution of the race occurred. Jay Matthias used the inside line on the restart to pass Derenne. Mike Cole then passed Derenne and set his sight on Matthias. Cole was able to stay with Matthias for a couple of laps. Matthias pulled out to a commanding lead and never looked back. Matthias won his second feature in a row. He was followed by Mike Cole, Eric Van Iten, and Sean Jerovetz. "The car was real fast tonight. Bill Van lie shout setup the car. He sets up a car so good your mother could drive it and win." Jay Matthias after his second consecutive feature win.

Pete Parker led the first 11 laps of the 30 lap Wisconsin Dirt Late Model Association feature event. Nick Anvelink stayed right behind Parker, until they got into lapped traffic. Before they where about to lap the first car, Anvelink shot high and passed both Parker and the lapped car. Anvelink then set sail, and said goodbye to the rest of the field. Winning by about a 1/2 lap Anvelink picked up the $1,500.00 winnings. Anvelink was followed at the checkers by Parker, Russ Scheffler, Eric Pember and Tim Lemirande.

"The track was real fast. There was a good 2-3 lanes of racing. I set my car up a little looser than a lot of the other drivers; I wanted my car to be a little looser than the rest of the field. I figured that the other drivers would have a tight set up in case the track got real dry-slick." Nick Anvelink in response to being asked what he did for a setup for the race track.

The Mays Sport Center IMCA Hobby Stock class took to the track with Derek Moede taking the lead for the first three laps. Starting eighth in the field, Ed Anschutz quickly made his way to second using the low line. "I saw on the pace laps that there was going to be some good clay on the bottom, so I decided to use that to my advantage." Ed Anschutz on why he went low on the start. Anschutz caught Moede and made the pass using the outside line. He led the feature by 5 car lengths the rest of the way and picked up his third feature win of the season. Anschutz was followed at the line by Moede, Brandon Peterson, and Keith Kickbusch. "I want to thank my Uncle Jon, and pit crew man, Justin Clark for all of their help during the week. The track was beautiful and my car was fast everywhere I put it."

Next week is Econo Foods night. There will be $1.00 hamburgers all night, and $1.00 beer from 4:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with the purchase of the grandstand admission. The Street Stocks will be the Potawatomi Lucky 5 class for the evening. Kids 8 and under will have a chance at a West Coast Chopper Big Wheel.
