Thunderhill Raceway Loses to Ma Nature for Saturday, May 22nd!

May 22, 2004; Sturgeon Bay, WI. - Sturgeon Bay's Thunderhill Raceway has officially called it an official rainout just moments ago. Tonight was to be their second night of racing on the third-mile clay oval. According to "Woody" Wodack, "The track was worked heavily this week and was going to be in great shape with a little help from Mother Nature, but it didn’t come this weekend."

The management staff will combine Coca-Cola Night and “5 DOLLAR NIGHT AT THE RACES!” presented by Forest County Potawatomi. That’s right...$5 Adult Grandstand Admission this Saturday, May 29th. Special cash drawings are planned for the grandstands and pits as well. Door prizes and season passes will be included on this special night for giveaway that will entice race fans of all ages.

Bonus cash payoffs will be added to the normal purse in most of the five exciting race divisions. Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, T Simon Jewelers IMCA Stock Cars, May’s Sports Center IMCA Hobby Stocks, AmericInn Street Stocks along with the Sport-4 class compete weekly on Saturday nights, with competition getting underway early at 6 p.m.
