Thunder Hill Raceway Schedules A Prime Time Practice!

April 11, 2003; Sturgeon Bay, WI. -  Promoters at Thunder Hill Raceway in Sturgeon Bay have announced a dual car show/practice at the third-mile clay oval on Saturday, April 26.

The show, which is set to take place at John Miles Park (formerly the Door County Fairgrounds) is slated to kick off with a car show beginning at 1 p.m. The show is open to race cars in any and all divisions. A practice session will then begin at 6:30 p.m. "We want to showcase our new state-of-the-art Musco lighting and give fans and drivers alike a look at it," said co-promoter Bryan "Woody" Wodack. "We'll have our concession stands open that day and we'll have a little entertainment behind the grandstand as well."

Grandstand admission to both the car show and practice is free. Drivers will be charged $15 to enter the pit area while crew members will pay $5. Inspectors for all of the divisions will be on hand as cars will be checked out prior to the season opener.

The first race of the season is set for Saturday night, May 3 at 6 p.m. IMCA modifieds, IMCA stock cars, IMCA hobby stocks, street stocks and four cylinder cars will compete weekly.
