Thunderhill Raceway Sets
Informational Meeting! January 7, 2003; Sturgeon Bay, WI. - Promoters of the new Thunder Hill Raceway in Sturgeon Bay have announced an informational meeting for the upcoming 2003 season. The driver's meeting will be held Wednesday, January 15 at 7 p.m. at The Reef Sports Bar located on Egg Harbor Road on Sturgeon Bay's east side. During the meeting track representatives will be on hand to answer questions. Season schedules and rules will be handed out. First and second row pit stalls will also be sold. Teams wishing to purchase pit stalls are reminded to have money on hand at the meeting. The season opener at the third-mile, clay oval (formerly known as Door County Speedway) located at John Miles Park will be Saturday, May 3 at 6 p.m. A date for an open practice session under the lights in late April will be announced soon. IMCA modifieds, IMCA stock cars, street stocks, IMCA hobby stocks and four cylinders will compete weekly through Labor Day weekend. For more information you can call 920 743 7052 or 920 746 0387.
