(Sturgeon Bay, WI) June 29, 2013 Results- Jamie Suchocki withstood all challengers scoring a clean sweep the IMCA Stock Car feature at Thunderhill Raceway. Other feature winners were Dan Ratajczak (IMCA Modified), Andy Ratajczak (IMCA Sport Mod), Travis Hackett (IMCA Hobby Stock), Billy LeMieux (Street Stock).

Next Saturday July 6 will be the 1st Annual John Soukup Memorial. $1 Coors w/paid wristband. The IMCA Sport Mods will be Topless and they’re racing for extra cash.

Jamie Suchocki sped to the lead from his front row starting spot in the IMCA Stock Car feature. Shawn Olson in only he second race of the season raced to the leaders back bumper as a series of cautions plagued the field. Olson kept Suchocki honest as laps clicked away. Larry Karcz Jr. made his presences felt as he worked inside Olson for the runner up spot. The duo made contact resulting in Olson suffering a flat tire ending his night. Karcz set his sites on Suchocki and began to work the leader over. With heavy and constant pressure Suchocki was forced to run a perfect lap each and circuit around the track. As the top two played bumper tag, point leader Dave Bouche caught the duo and made it a trio for the lead. With Karcz pressured from Bouche, Suchocki was able to gain a car length lead on the final lap and scored the feature win. Bouche won the battle for second, Karcz in his first run of the season was third, John Anschutz fourth and Troy Muench completed the top five.

Andy Ratajczak had a stellar weekend of racing, not only did the young gun score his first feature win Friday at Luxemburg Speedway. 24 hours later he completed the same feat at Thunderhill in the IMCA Sport Mods.

Ratajczak led every lap of the feature going unchallenged through contest collecting the win. Defending champion Bernie Reinhardt had the rest of the field covered placing second thus taking over the point lead, Rookie Jacob Zellner had a career best finish of third, Dennis Miesler made a late race charge to fourth after starting in row 7 and title contender Randy LeMieux Jr. brought home fifth.

Not to be outdone Andy’s father Dan Ratajczak raced to his 3rd feature win in a row in the IMCA Modifieds.

Ratajczak matched his son by leading every lap in the Modified main event en route to the win. Point leader James Tebon ounce again placed second at the pay window, Tyler Hackett took home third in his first run of the season, former champ Todd Dart was fourth and Billy LeMieux rounded out the top five.

Billy LeMieux took the lead away from Scott Pagels on lap 5 and never looked back picking up his first Street Stock feature win.

Point leader Keith Kickbusch padded his point lead placing second, Marcus Moede was third, Brandon Peterson fourth and Geno Sternard came home fifth after starting in row 7. LeMieux’s racer let out a huge puff of smoke when he took the checker which turned out to be a blown transmission that lasted just long enough to earn the victory. LeMieux has raced Mods and Street Stocks each night throughout the season.

Travis Hackett picked up his first feature win of the year in the IMCA Hobby Stocks.

CJ Weckler paced the field until lap 6 when he lost the handle and spun in turn 4 whole battling for the lead with Scott Boulanger. Hackett inherited the lead and never let go taking home the win. The run for 4 feature wins in a row ended as Boulanger suffered mechanical problems while running 2nd ending his night. Derek Moede placed second and took over the point lead, Sawyer Haese was third, Joe Hegnet fourth and Amber Weidner had a solid fifth place finish.
