(Sturgeon Bay, WI) August 17, 2013 Results- IMCA Stock Car point leader Dave “The Bulldozer” Bouche took the lead away from Jamie Suchocki with just 2 laps remaining to score his 3rd feature win of the season at Thunderhill Raceway. Other feature winners were James Tebon (IMCA Modified), Jarred VanLaanen (IMCA Sport Mod), Scott Boulanger (IMCA Hobby Stock) and Billy LeMieux (Street Stock)

The Powder-Puff race will makes its annual visit to the Hill on Saturday August 24. The rescheduled Bartenders race will also take place at the end of the night. Action will be brought to you by Palmer Johnson Yachts.

Tony Bouche looked like the man the beat early on in the IMCA Stock Car feature until Jamie Suchocki raced by using the high side on lap 8. Suchocki paced the field opening up a sizable advantage over Tony. Defending champ Dave Bouche quickly raced to the top five and slipped by his Uncle Tony for the runner up position. Dave then began to chop away at Suchocki’s advantage. Suchocki kept working the high side with Dave down low. With 3 laps remaining Dave snuck to the inside of the leader, taking the top spot as the white flag flew. Suchocki fought back on the final lap pulling ahead down the backstretch. The duo raced door to door out of turn 4 with checker waving, Dave was able to beat Suchocki to the finish line by only a fender. Shawn Havel was third, Tony Bouche fourth and Scott Reinhardt completed the top five. For the Bulldozer it was his second win in a row.

Jarred VanLaanen earned a his 3rd feature win of the season in the IMCA Sport Mods.

Three different drivers led the first 3 laps of the Sport Mod main with Rookie Cody Rass pacing the field through a series of cautions. This kept the field on his rear spoiler allowing Jarred VanLaanen to muscle his way by Rass on a lap 7 restart. Title contender Randy LeMieux Jr. had a good night go bad while running third as his racer lost power sending him coasting into the pits. VanLaanen went unchallenged the rest of the way picking up the win. Bernie Reinhardt capitalized on LeMieux‘s mechanical issues by placing second, Rass, Jeff Lautenbach and Jacob Zellner rounded out the top five.

Scott Boulanger raced around Travis Lumaye for the lead midway through the IMCA Hobby Stock feature and never looked back picking up his 7th victory of the season. It was also a clean sweep for Boulanger who sits tied for the point lead. Dave Schmidt was second, co-point leader Derek Moede placed third and Joe Hegnet was fourth.

Billy LeMieux earned a division high 4th feature win of the season in the Street Stocks. Point leader Keith Kickbusch was second, Kevin Leudtke came home third and Scott Pagels rounded out the top four.

In IMCA Modified action defending champion James Lee Tebon led every lap en rout to his 2nd feature win in a row. Rookie Greg Gretz was third and fellow Rookie Scott Ratajczak brought home third subbing for the injured Dan Ratajczak.
