(Sturgeon Bay, WI) September 20 – The 2010 season is now complete at Prestige Yacht Coatings ThunderHill Raceway with the fall special now in the books. The winner’s of the fall special were Eugene Gregorich in the Modifieds, Dave Bouche in the Stock Cars, Brad Lautenbach in the Sport Mods, Edward Anschutz in the Street Stocks, Luke Lemmens in the Hobby Stocks, and Jeremy Dubois in the 4 Cylinders.

Kewaunee’s Edward Anschutz picked up the 15 lap Street Stock A-Main.

Kevin Sternard used his pole position starting spot to take the early lead in the Street Stock feature. An early caution would slow the field. On the restart, Sternard would again build his lead to five car lengths. Sternard would continue to lead until mechanical woes sidelined him for the night. Ed Anschutz would inherit the lead after a caution flag. Anschutz would check out and go unchallenged and pick up the feature win. Geno Sternard was second followed by Josh Novak, Jimmy Anderson, and Nick Grovogel.

2010 Champion Luke Lemmens of Kewaunee capped off his season taking home the win in the Hobby Stocks.

Tom Brumlic would lead the opening lap of the Hobby Stock feature before being overtaken by Adam Pallex. Luke Lemmens would take the lead down low with Brandon Peterson right behind. At the half way point of the race the caution came out bringing the field together. The battle would ensue after the caution with Lemmens holding the lead with Peterson all over the back bumper. Lemmens would hold off all charges and pick up the win. Peterson would settle for second with Pallex third, C.J. Weckler fourth, and Frank Paul fifth.

New Franken’s, Brad Lautenbach won his 8th feature of the season, winning the Sport Mod feature taking home a $700 pay day.

Eric Arneson led from the drop of the green flag to start out the Sport Mod feature. Aaron Holiday brought out the first caution with a spin in turn two. Ryan LeMieux used the inside lane on the restart to gain control of the point over Arneson. A series of cautions would keep the field close. Brad Lautenbach would make his was to second at the half way point of the race setting his sights on LeMieux. Lautenbach would secure the lead with the pass inside on lap 13. Lautenbach would charge away from the field and pick up the win. LeMieux was second but failed post race inspection. Second went to Arneson, Jeremy Cota third, Randy LeMieux Jr. fourth, and Tom Stark fifth.

Algoma’s Dave Bouche stormed through field after going down pit lane early to win and the Stock Car main event, the win netted Bouche $700.

Dave Bouche started the feature up front and took control early in the Stockcar feature. Caution would fly after Troy Muench and Bouche got together going for the lead. Bouche would head down pit lane. Jeremy Wiitala would inherit the lead after the caution but had heavy pressure from Larry Karcz Jr. Karcz would use a low line pass on Wiitala for the lead. A caution would keep the field close with ten laps to go.

With five to go, Wiitala makes a three wide pass for the lead after contact between Justin Jacobsen and Larry Karcz. A caution with two laps to go would setup a two lap dash for cash. On the restart, Wiitala left just enough room for Dave Bouche to get even. As they rounded the final corner on the last lap, Bouche edged Wiitala. Bouche who had come back from 20th after going down pit lane picked up the win.

4-Time Modified Champion Eugene Gregorich of Kewaunee picked the win the Modifieds, taking home a cool $1000.
Shawn Kilgore stormed into the lead in the opening laps of the Modified feature. Caution laps would put a damper early on in the race. Once the race restarted, Kilgore would take off and hold a commanding lead over Billy LeMieux who would later bring out the caution while running second. On the caution Kilgore’s machine began leaking fluid and thus being sent out of the race.

James Tebon would take over command of the race. Eugene Gregorich would make his way to second with 5 laps to go and start to reel in Tebon. Gregorich used a power move down low with three laps to go to take the lead. Gregorich would cruise to victory with Tebon second. Kyle Kudick finished third with Kevin Sternard fourth and Dave Zeitler fifth.

Jeremy Dubois would take the lead in the 4 Cylinder feature and never look back. The win completed his championship run in the 4 Cylinder’s
