JEREMY ANSCHUTZ & JAMES DAHLSTROM TASTE VICTORY LANE FOR THE FIRST TIME AT THUNDERHILL

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) April 25, 2015 Results- Jeremy Anschutz withstood heavy pressure from “Hot Rod” Snellenberger to win his first ever IMCA Stock Car feature at Thunderhill Raceway. Other feature winners were Todd Dart (IMCA Modified), Todd Wiese (IMCA Sport Mod), Dave Schmidt (IMCA Hobby Stock) and James Dahlstrom (Street Stock)

Jeremy Anschutz gained control of the IMCA Stock Car feature on lap 3 after Scott Reinhardt tagged the wall. Reinhardt was able to continue after a trip down pit lane. Rod Snellenberger wasted no time jumping to the runner up spot where he began to pressure Anschutz…

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) August 23, 2014 Results- With only one point night remaining several championships are up for grabs. While some point leaders flourished, others lost several precious points. For tonight, Billy LeMieux was living large with another double header weekend, taking the win in the IMCA Stock Cars and Street Stocks for the third time this season at Thunderhill Raceway. Other feature winners were Greg Gretz (IMCA Modified), Josh Massart (IMCA Sport Mod) and Jeremy Jauquet (IMCA Hobby Stock). Ashley Maccoux was victorious the Powder Puff race. (more…)

“KINGS OF THE HILL” RULE STURGEON BAY

(Sturgeon Bay, WI — 8/9/2014) Call them the Kings of the Hill; the two drivers with more feature wins than anyone else at the Thunderhill Raceway in Sturgeon Bay.

They are Todd Dart and Charlie Kroll, the only two drivers to hit the 50 win plateau at the Speedway since the track reopened in 1993. Saturday night, both of the veteran competitors added to their lofty feature win totals, taking top honors in the IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Stock Cars respectively. (more…)

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) July 26, 2014 Race Results- Earlier in the day former IMCA Modified racer Brad Anderegg was laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Algoma. A somber mood in the racing world turned into a fairy tail finish. (Sturgeon Bay, WI) July 12, 2014 Results- Like in NASCAR Kyle Bush will race anything with wheels. Often sweeping entire weekends in the Truck, Nationwide and Cup series. Saturday night Billy LeMieux did the same by scoring a clean sweep in the IMCA Stock Cars and in the Street Stocks for the second time this season at Thunderhill Raceway. Other feature winners were James Tebon (IMCA Modified), Scott Boulanger (IMCA Sport Mod) and Derek Moede (IMCA Hobby Stock).

(Sturgeon Bay, WI – 7/4/2014) – As he pulled into the pits by himself, Scott “Scooter” Boyea was simply hoping for the best.

Without a pit crew, a night without issues and a safe journey back to the trailer after the feature might be the definition of a good night. As it turned out, his evening turned out significantly better than that.

Boyea scored the most lucrative win of his career, taking home a $1,500 paycheck with a victory in the IMCA Northern Sport Mod, John Soukup…

(Sturgeon Bay, WI – 6/28/2014) – Maybe it was destiny.

Saturday night the Thunderhill Raceway inducted its first Hall of Fame class – and in a surprise turn of events, a future Hall of Famer took home the night’s top prize.

Todd Dart etched his name in The Hill record books again by winning for the 51st time in the IMCA Modified headliner when a late crash sidelined Benji LaCrosse just two laps from the checker.

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) June 14, 2014 Results- Algoma’s “Felix” Todd Dart reigned supreme with his 3rd IMCA Modified feature win of the season at Thunderhill Raceway.
