(Sturgeon Bay, WI) July 18, 2013- Fans, sponsors, crews and drivers ready for Thursday Night Thunder at the track known as “The Circle of Death”. Off a thrilling night of racing at Seymour Speedway the Iron Horse Sales & Service Badger Stock Car Tour heads to Thunderhill Raceway with guns blazing. As this heads to press the clock has struck midnight, Thursday for that matter and the calm before the storm sets in. Stock Cars, IMCA Sport Mods and Street Stocks will be in action with racing starting at 7pm.

A total of 40 Stock Cars checked in at Seymour and fans witnessed what this class is all about. Action was hot and heavy as the sparks flew…when the smoke settled it was Oconto’s Scott Stewart executing a 3-wide pass around Green Bay’s JJ Heinz and Oconto’s Kyle Fredrick with 2 laps remaining to score the victory in the debut of the series. Oshkosh will field the Badger Mod and Stock Car Tour this Friday along with the IMCA Sport Mods. Thunderhill regulars Jeremy Wiitala was an impressive fourth and Luke Lemmens was sixth after starting deep in the field. Will a Hill regular drive away with the $700 winners purse or will an invader take the money and run.

The night will be brought to you by The Bull Pen Bar & Grill and Prestige Yacht Coating, both have been huge supporters of the track and we look forward to great night. A special Iron-Man challenge has been issued to the Stock Cars and Sport Mods. The driver in each class with most points after this 3 race swing will collect extra pay.

All 5 divisions will be back in action Saturday July 20 for our regular scheduled point night brought to you by Reinhardt Construction featuring GO BO! night with a kids bike / give-away. As of now 5 lucky children will be chosen, of those 5 they will pick their favorite driver and the drivers will race around the track. After posing for pictures in victory lane by Dan & Mary Lewis, the kids will then be awarded the bicycle.

Five divisions do battle every Saturday night through the summer. IMCA Modified, IMCA Stock Car, IMCA Northern Sport Mod, IMCA Hobby Stock and Street Stocks will compete on the 1/3rd mile clay oval.
