(Sturgeon Bay, WI) February 9, 2013 -Staff members at Thunderhill Raceway met recently to discuss the up coming race season and what could be done to offer racers and fans the best show without breaking the bank. It went to a vote and with a ONE TIME $50 membership fee, drivers will get in pits free the entire season on regular point nights for 2013.

You didn’t read it wrong we said DRIVERS GET IN FREE with mandatory membership fee! Many other tracks have implemented mandatory membership fees due to many reasons, essentially it equates to brand loyalty which results in a reduced pit pass prices for the season. Crew members prices will remain the same as last year, $25 membership fee then its $20 per night rest of the season. Its as simple as it sounds.

Two practices will take place on April 20 & 27.

18 nights of action will fill the slate with the first points night of the season on May 4. We felt it was important to push our start date into May, with hopes of the weather being a little better for fans and drivers alike. This is also the same weekend that Luxemburg Speedway starts. Drivers racing at both tracks will get that much needed adrenaline rush come the first weekend in May. Championship night rounds out the season on August 31.

In order to help Wisconsin drivers chasing IMCA National, Regional & State championship Thunderhill will holds its first ever “THURSDAY NIGHT THUNDER” on July 18th. It will be a non track points night but as stated above, IMCA sanctioned. Luxemburg is off that Friday.

July 6 IMCA Sport Mods will cut the roofs off and go Topless.
July 27 The ever popular Trailer Race of Destruction with take place.
August 24 Powder Puff Night
Spectator Eliminator will also return for a minimum 3 events. May 18, June 15 & August 10. Rules forth coming.
