FAIR SPECIAL AT THUNDERHILL REGULAR POINTS NIGHT WED AUGUST 1 & INFO

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) Thunderhill Raceway readies for an action packed night of racing on the 1/3 mile clay oval Wednesday, August 1 for the Door County Fair. It will be for regular track points including all IMCA points. The format will be the same as any regular night of racing with starting positions based on your point average. Please note the start time has been moved to 6:30 to try and allow everyone ample time to make it to the track because of it being a weekday.

6 divisions will be in action with the open wheel Kelsey Racing IMCA Modifieds, full steel bodied Algoma Motors IMCA Stock Cars, Butchs Auto IMCA Sport Mods, LaVine’s Ice IMCA Hobby Stocks, Lackie Rentals Street Stocks and the Feisty Fours will be in action.

The cost to get in the Door County Fair is only $10, after that your free to walk the grounds taking in the sights and sounds with it then being free to go in the grandstands for the races. Pit passes at the back gate will be $25 per person. The night is presented to you by Sturgeon Bay’s Prestige Yacht Coatings.

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) May 16, 2015 Results- “Hot Rod” Snellenberger capitalized on a late race restart to score the victory in the IMCA Stock Cars at Thunderhill Raceway. Other feature winners were Todd Dart (IMCA Modified), Bernie Reinhardt (IMCA Sport Mod), Marcus Moede (IMCA Hobby Stock), Billy LeMieux (Street Stock).

Next Saturday, May 23 the IMCA Stock Cars will be racing for $1000 to win.

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) May 9, 2015 Results- Last night at Thunderhill Raceway a pair cagey veterans in Tony Bouche and Charlie Kroll squared off. Bouche was able to put his 38 years of racing knowledge to good use as he out dueled Kroll late in the going to score a popular win in the IMCA Stock Cars. Other feature winners were Greg Gretz (IMCA Modified), Cody Rass (IMCA Sport Mod), Dave Schmidt (IMCA Hobby Stock) and James Dahlstrom (Street Stock)
