(Sturgeon Bay, WI) July 31 – Prestige Yacht Coatings Thunderhill Raceway prepares to start the month of August with a bang. The IMCA Stock Cars will kick off the first of 2 specials with a rare Thursday race on August 4. that pays $1000 to win. Joining the Stock Cars will be the MSA Winged Sprints and the Midwest Legend cars.

Thursday Night
Pit Gate Admission – $25.00
Stock Car Driver Entry – $20.00

The IMCA Stock Cars will be racing for $1000 to win, 2nd $500, 3rd $375, 4th $200 and will pay $100 to start, with a guaranteed purse. The night will feature a draw redraw format and will be IMCA sanctioned. The night will be for State, Regional and National points. It is NOT a track point night. Note no other regular divisions are running this night. Racing starts at 6pm.

The second special will take place on Saturday August 6. It will be IMCA sanctioned and be for track points. The Feisty Fours have the night off. Racing starts at 6pm.

IMCA Sport Mods $400 to win, 2nd $200, 3rd $150, 4th $130 and $40 to start
IMCA Hobby Stocks $300 to win $40 to start
Street Stocks $300 to win $40 to start

Special thanks to Peil Construction, Total Lawn Car, Bleys Bar, Denil Auto & Trucking, Cater Plumbing, Mobile Detailing, Custom Seal Coating and Reinhardt Construction. All these Door County business’s have stepped up and pitched in to raise the pay for the Stock Cars and allowing the pay scale to remain solid through the entire field.

Prices to get in the fair if you don’t want to go on any rides is only $5 and the grandstand will be $8. Making a total of only $13 to see some of the areas best drivers compete. (Sturgeon Bay, WI) June 28, 2015 Results- In the IMCA Stock Cars Troy Muench withstood all challengers to claim his first feature win of the season at Thunderhill Raceway. Other feature winners were Tyler Hackett (IMCA Modified), Jacob Zellner (IMCA Sport Mod), Ford Malvitz (IMCA Hobby Stock) and Billy LeMieux (Street Stock).

Next Sunday, July 5 will feature the $1000 to win Topless IMCA Sport Mod feature for the 3rd Annual John Soukup Memorial. Racing starts at 5:30PM

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) June 21, 2015 Results- Shawn Havel took his Wolfe Racing Chassis IMCA Stock Car to victory for the second week in a row at Thunderhill Raceway. Other feature winners were Tyler Hackett (IMCA Modified), Jacob Zellner (IMCA Sport Mod), Marcus Moede (IMCA Hobby Stock) and James Dahlstrom (Street Stock).

Five members were inducted into the Thunderhill Raceway Hall of Fame. They were Wally Massart, Darrell Massart, Reggie Cochart, Jerry Jonet and George Henkel.

HAVEL HUSTLES TO IMCA STOCK CAR WIN / ENGEBREGTSEN GETS FIRST VICTORY

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) Sunday, June 14 2015 Results- Shawn Havel used a late race restart to snatch victory from Scott Reinhardt in the IMCA Stock Cars at Thunderhill Raceway. Other feature winners were Tyler Hackett (IMCA Modified), Vince Engebregtsen (IMCA Sport Mod), Marcus Moede (IMCA Hobby Stock) and James Dahlstrom (Street Stock). A total of 73 cars we on hand for the new night as well as a solid crowd.
