(Sturgeon Bay, WI) July 31 – Prestige Yacht Coatings Thunderhill Raceway prepares to start the month of August with a bang. The IMCA Stock Cars will kick off the first of 2 specials with a rare Thursday race on August 4. that pays $1000 to win. Joining the Stock Cars will be the MSA Winged Sprints and the Midwest Legend cars.

Thursday Night
Pit Gate Admission – $25.00
Stock Car Driver Entry – $20.00

The IMCA Stock Cars will be racing for $1000 to win, 2nd $500, 3rd $375, 4th $200 and will pay $100 to start, with a guaranteed purse. The night will feature a draw redraw format and will be IMCA sanctioned. The night will be for State, Regional and National points. It is NOT a track point night. Note no other regular divisions are running this night. Racing starts at 6pm.

The second special will take place on Saturday August 6. It will be IMCA sanctioned and be for track points. The Feisty Fours have the night off. Racing starts at 6pm.

IMCA Modifieds $800 to win, 2nd $500, 3rd $400, 4th $300 and $100 to start
IMCA Stock Cars $600 to win, 2nd $350, 3rd $225, 4th 200 and $100 to start
IMCA Sport Mods $400 to win, 2nd $200, 3rd $150, 4th $130 and $40 to start
IMCA Hobby Stocks $300 to win $40 to start
Street Stocks $300 to win $40 to start

Special thanks to Peil Construction, Total Lawn Car, Bleys Bar, Denil Auto & Trucking, Cater Plumbing, Mobile Detailing, Custom Seal Coating and Reinhardt Construction. All these Door County business’s have stepped up and pitched in to raise the pay for the Stock Cars and allowing the pay scale to remain solid through the entire field.

Prices to get in the fair if you don’t want to go on any rides is only $5 and the grandstand will be $8. Making a total of only $13 to see some of the areas best drivers compete. (Sturgeon Bay, WI) May 9, 2015 Results- Last night at Thunderhill Raceway a pair cagey veterans in Tony Bouche and Charlie Kroll squared off. Bouche was able to put his 38 years of racing knowledge to good use as he out dueled Kroll late in the going to score a popular win in the IMCA Stock Cars. Other feature winners were Greg Gretz (IMCA Modified), Cody Rass (IMCA Sport Mod), Dave Schmidt (IMCA Hobby Stock) and James Dahlstrom (Street Stock)
