(Sturgeon Bay, WI) July 31 – Prestige Yacht Coatings Thunderhill Raceway prepares to start the month of August with a bang. The IMCA Stock Cars will kick off the first of 2 specials with a rare Thursday race on August 4. that pays $1000 to win. Joining the Stock Cars will be the MSA Winged Sprints and the Midwest Legend cars.

Thursday Night
Pit Gate Admission – $25.00
Stock Car Driver Entry – $20.00

The IMCA Stock Cars will be racing for $1000 to win, 2nd $500, 3rd $375, 4th $200 and will pay $100 to start, with a guaranteed purse. The night will feature a draw redraw format and will be IMCA sanctioned. The night will be for State, Regional and National points. It is NOT a track point night. Note no other regular divisions are running this night. Racing starts at 6pm.

The second special will take place on Saturday August 6. It will be IMCA sanctioned and be for track points. The Feisty Fours have the night off. Racing starts at 6pm.

IMCA Sport Mods $400 to win, 2nd $200, 3rd $150, 4th $130 and $40 to start
IMCA Hobby Stocks $300 to win $40 to start
Street Stocks $300 to win $40 to start

All these Door County business’s have stepped up and pitched in to raise the pay for the Stock Cars and allowing the pay scale to remain solid through the entire field.

Prices to get in the fair if you don’t want to go on any rides is only $5 and the grandstand will be $8. Making a total of only $13 to see some of the areas best drivers compete. (Sturgeon Bay, WI)- Billy Lemieux was a star studded Man in Door County over the weekend. Not only did he rank in 135th place out of 160 players at the M.A.C Softball tournament; He decided to double up on Feature wins at Thunderhill Raceway on Sunday night. Lemieux earned wins in both the IMCA Stockcar Feature and Street Stock Feature.

Other winners included: Tyler Hackett(IMCA Modifieds) Jarred VanLaanen(IMCA Sportmods) Dave Schmidt(IMCA Hobby Stocks) and Nathan Delsart(Thunder Trucks)
