PRESTIGE YACHT COATINGS RETURNS AS TITLE SPONSOR AT THUNDERHILL RACEWAY

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) October 17 – Prestige Yacht Coatings will once again return as the track title sponsor at ThunderHill Raceway in 2011.

“I grew up in Door County, and I’ve always been a huge fan of racing at ThunderHill.” stated; Joe Hernandez owner of Prestige Yacht Coatings. “Supporting the track is a great way to give back to the community and show appreciation to all the drivers who put on a great show each and every Saturday night.”

Prestige Yacht Coatings has been the title sponsor at ThunderHill Raceway since 2009. Prestige Yacht Coatings is located in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin and has added a location over seas in the United Arab Emirates, and is one of the world leaders in yacht coatings.

“To say I’m excited to have Prestige Yacht Coatings back would be a huge understatement.” stated track promoter Bryan “Woody” Wodack; “With Joe and Prestige Yacht Coatings supporting the track, I feel the possibilities are endless and I’m thrilled to see what the 2011 racing season will bring.”

The 2011 season will kick off at ThunderHill Raceway with a Car Show & Practice on April 23. The Saturday night point shows will be IMCA sanctioned and start on April 30 and end with Championship night on September 3.

Thunderhill is located at the John Miles Fair Park on Sturgeon Bay’s east side. IMCA modifieds, stock cars, hobby stocks, northern sport mods, street stocks & 4 cylinders will be back in action for the 2011 season. (Sturgeon Bay, WI) August 9, 2015 Results- Tony Bouche made a last lap, last corner pass on Jamie Suchocki to steal the win in the IMCA Stock Cars at Thunderhill Raceway. Other feature winners were Todd Dart (IMCA Modified), Vince Engebregtsen (IMCA Sport Mod), Ford Malvitz (IMCA Hobby Stock), Billy LeMieux (Street Stock) and Tory Peterson (Thunder Truck). Adam Sternard took home the win and $500 in the Trailer Race of Destruction.

Chances are, Billy LeMieux will long remember the last week of July, 2015.

After winning two features on Sunday, he came back to repeat the feat Wednesday night as Thunderhill Raceway’s program shifted to midweek to open the Door County Fair.

Joining LeMieux in victory lane on the night were Tyler Hackett in the Modifieds, Randy LeMieux, Jr in the Sport Mods, Travis LuMaye in the Hobby Stocks and Nathan Delsart in the Thunder Trucks.

(Sturgeon Bay, WI)- Billy Lemieux was a star studded Man in Door County over the weekend. Not only did he rank in 135th place out of 160 players at the M.A.C Softball tournament; He decided to double up on Feature wins at Thunderhill Raceway on Sunday night. Lemieux earned wins in both the IMCA Stockcar Feature and Street Stock Feature.
