PRESTIGE YACHT COATINGS RETURNS AS TITLE SPONSOR AT THUNDERHILL RACEWAY

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) October 17 – Prestige Yacht Coatings will once again return as the track title sponsor at ThunderHill Raceway in 2011.

“I grew up in Door County, and I’ve always been a huge fan of racing at ThunderHill.” stated; Joe Hernandez owner of Prestige Yacht Coatings. “Supporting the track is a great way to give back to the community and show appreciation to all the drivers who put on a great show each and every Saturday night.”

Prestige Yacht Coatings has been the title sponsor at ThunderHill Raceway since 2009. Prestige Yacht Coatings is located in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin and has added a location over seas in the United Arab Emirates, and is one of the world leaders in yacht coatings.

“To say I’m excited to have Prestige Yacht Coatings back would be a huge understatement.” stated track promoter Bryan “Woody” Wodack; “With Joe and Prestige Yacht Coatings supporting the track, I feel the possibilities are endless and I’m thrilled to see what the 2011 racing season will bring.”

The 2011 season will kick off at ThunderHill Raceway with a Car Show & Practice on April 23. The Saturday night point shows will be IMCA sanctioned and start on April 30 and end with Championship night on September 3.

Thunderhill is located at the John Miles Fair Park on Sturgeon Bay’s east side. IMCA modifieds, stock cars, hobby stocks, northern sport mods, street stocks & 4 cylinders will be back in action for the 2011 season. (Sturgeon Bay, WI) May 16, 2015 Results- “Hot Rod” Snellenberger capitalized on a late race restart to score the victory in the IMCA Stock Cars at Thunderhill Raceway. Other feature winners were Todd Dart (IMCA Modified), Bernie Reinhardt (IMCA Sport Mod), Marcus Moede (IMCA Hobby Stock), Billy LeMieux (Street Stock).

Next Saturday, May 23 the IMCA Stock Cars will be racing for $1000 to win.

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) May 9, 2015 Results- Last night at Thunderhill Raceway a pair cagey veterans in Tony Bouche and Charlie Kroll squared off. Bouche was able to put his 38 years of racing knowledge to good use as he out dueled Kroll late in the going to score a popular win in the IMCA Stock Cars. Other feature winners were Greg Gretz (IMCA Modified), Cody Rass (IMCA Sport Mod), Dave Schmidt (IMCA Hobby Stock) and James Dahlstrom (Street Stock)
