(Sturgeon Bay, WI) August 31 – Floors by Josh will host Championship Night at Prestige Yacht Coatings. Champions will be crowned in all 6 divisions this Saturday night, September 4.. Which will include a kids coin drop.
Floors by Josh is owned and operated by former third generation racecar diver Josh Massart.
All points championships are still up for grabs.
De Pere’s Jay Matthias sit’s a top the IMCA Modified standings hold a 12 point edge over Algoma’s Todd Dart. Matthias is eyeing his first career track title.
Kewaunee’s Greg Gretz holds just a 1 point lead over Forestville’s Charlie Kroll in the IMCA Stock Cars.
Oconto Falls, Eric “Chummy” Arneson holds a 26 point edge over Sturgeon Bay’s Ryan LeMieux in the IMCA Sport Mods. Arneson has to qualify for the feature and he clinch his first ever ThunderHill title.
In the IMCA Hobby Stocks, Kewaunee’s Luke Lemmens holds 11 point edge over Sturgeon Bay’s Brandon Peterson. Lemmens also currently sits tied with Algoma’s Marcus Moede in the battle for the IMCA State Crown.
Sturgeon Bay’s Geno Sternard is eyeing his first career title holding a 7 point lead over Green Bay’s Tony Everard. This is Everard’s first year in the Street Stocks as he is a former four-cylinder Champion
Sturgeon Bay’s Jeremy DuBois leads the Four Cylinders with a 14 point edge over Sturgeon Bay’s Mike Sargent.
Rookie of the Year Battles:
Green Bay’s Jeremy Wiitala will be crowned Rookie of the Year in stock cars, Wiitala is a former Bomber and Street Stock Champion. Wiitala currently sits 3rd in points.
In the IMCA Sport Mods, Sturgeon Bay’s Kelsy Hayes holds a 5 point edge over Algoma’s Tyler Hackett. Hayes sits 7th in points with Hackett 8th.
Algoma’s Travis Hackett will be crowned the Hobby Stock Rookie of the Year. Hackett currently since 4th in the standings.
Tony Everard will just need to sign in and he will be crown Rookie of the Year in the Street Stocks.
Joey Scoon will the top Rookies in the Four-Cylinder Division
