BUTCH’S AUTO & TRI COUNTY HEATING MAKE IT $700 TO WIN THE SPORT MOD FEATURE AT THUNDERHILL RACEWAY

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) September 7 – Butch’s Auto of Sturgeon Bay and Tri County Heating of New Franken have each pitched in $100 extra to the winner of the IMCA style Sport Mod Feature for the September 10 & 11 Fall Classic at ThunderHill Raceway.

This now makes it $700 to win Sport Mod main.

“The Sport Mods put on a great show week in and week out, they have been by far our fastest growing class, I can’t thank Tri County Heating and Butch’s Auto enough for their support all season long and for our special.” Said Track Promoter Bryan “Woody” Wodack.

The Fall Classic will qualify 10 cars Friday and 10 cars Saturday per division. Fastrak Late Models and Modifieds will be racing for $1000 to win, Stock Cars $700, Sport Mods $700, Street Stocks & Hobby Stocks $400 and 4-Cylinders $150. Payout based on 25 mods, 30 stocks, 30 sport mods, 25 streets, 22 hobbies and 20 4cyl. Saturdays features will be followed by a $250 to win Trailer Race of Destruction and $100 to the Best Appearing vehicle/trailer combo. We are taking the first 20 vehicles to register, for more information and rules on the Trailer Race, please contact John Knudson @920-559-6800.

Single day pit passes will be $30, 2-day passes are $50. (Driver entry fees not included in pit pass) Entry fees per division: Mods $25, Stock Cars $20, Sport Mod, Street Stock and Hobby Stock $15.

Pit Gates will open at 1:30pm both days. Pit stalls can be reserved for $20, otherwise open parking. Sign in cutoff will be 5:30pm Friday and 4:00pm Saturday.

Thunderhill is located at the John Miles Fair Park on Sturgeon Bay’s east side with racing in the six divisions beginning every Saturday night through the summer. (Sturgeon Bay, WI) May 16, 2015 Results- “Hot Rod” Snellenberger capitalized on a late race restart to score the victory in the IMCA Stock Cars at Thunderhill Raceway. Other feature winners were Todd Dart (IMCA Modified), Bernie Reinhardt (IMCA Sport Mod), Marcus Moede (IMCA Hobby Stock), Billy LeMieux (Street Stock).

Next Saturday, May 23 the IMCA Stock Cars will be racing for $1000 to win.

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) May 9, 2015 Results- Last night at Thunderhill Raceway a pair cagey veterans in Tony Bouche and Charlie Kroll squared off. Bouche was able to put his 38 years of racing knowledge to good use as he out dueled Kroll late in the going to score a popular win in the IMCA Stock Cars. Other feature winners were Greg Gretz (IMCA Modified), Cody Rass (IMCA Sport Mod), Dave Schmidt (IMCA Hobby Stock) and James Dahlstrom (Street Stock)
