May 7, 2009; Sturgeon Bay, WI – The 2009 season at Prestige Yacht Coatings Thunderhill Raceway gets underway this Saturday night, May 9 at 6pm, sponsored by WDOR 93.9. IMCA modifieds, stock cars, hobby stocks, sport mods, NEW super stocks and 4 cylinders will compete weekly through the month of August.
“This year is going to be a no-frills year for the track,” said track promoter Bryan “Woody” Wodack. “We’re going to come here to race our weekly program and have a good time.”
Admission for the 2009 season hasn’t changed. A ticket for adults will cost $9.00, $6.00 for senior citizens and students (13-17), $2.00 for children (6-12) and kids 5 and under are free of charge.
In addition, Harbor Lady Cruises of Sturgeon Bay will be giving away 4 tickets each week to fans for a cruise on August 1. Fans need to be 21 years of age or older to be eligible for the prize.
Thunderhill’s website has changed its look for the new season, featuring an RSS feed, Facebook page and Twitter updates. All of the features help keep fans and drivers updated on the happenings at the track.
