Christmas in July Rescheduled for Upcoming Weekend at Thunderhill

Posted under Headlines, News on July 30th, 2009

July 30, 2009; Sturgeon Bay, WI – Rain showers put a damper on Prestige Yacht Coatings Thunderhill Raceway’s plans for “Christmas in July” at the track this past weekend, so the festivities will be held this coming Saturday evening during the regularly scheduled racing program.  The night of racing will be sponsored by Miller Lite.

A reminder to race teams that they are encouraged to dress up their race haulers with a Christmas theme, as prizes will be awarded to the best appearing rigs. The track and personnel will be donning Christmas decorations and apparel as well.

There will be no racing next Saturday due to the Door County Fair.  On Wednesday, August 5 is the annual Door County Fair Night Special with racing starting at 6:30pm.  The NEW super stock division will not be racing on that night.

Racing begins at 6pm on Saturday evening with IMCA modifieds, stock cars, hobby stocks, northern sport mods, NEW super stocks and 4 cylinders hitting the 1/3 mile clay oval. For more information, visit www.racethunderhill.com or call (920) 743-7052.
