In April a meeting was held with a television producer/promoter with the plan of trying to get a racing reality show off the ground that featured the dynamic of the girls vs. boys battling on the flat 1/3 mile clay oval. With heavy rains which forced Luxemburg Speedway to cancel last night, Thunderhill has suffered the same fate and is following suit by doing so. With 141 Speedway off and Shawano Speedway not sanctioning for the Mods, this leaves Thunderhill as the only track in the state where drivers in the IMCA Modifieds can earn sanctioned points. “With the weather playing havoc in recent weeks this will offer Wisconsin drivers chasing State, Regional and National points an extra night.” Stated track promoter Woody Wodack.

Practice called off at Thunderhill Raceway for Sunday April 12

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) April 11, 2015 Press Release- The tentative practice for Sunday April 12 at Thunderhill Raceway has been called off due to the track being to wet.

The next practice is set for April 18. The first points night is on April 25.

Six divisions do battle every Saturday night through the summer.
