NATHAN BOUCHE MEMORIAL RESCHEDULED FOR JUNE 25

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) May 25 – The 3rd Annual Nathan Bouche Memorial has been rescheduled for Saturday June 25 at Thunderhill Raceway. The night will be brought to you by Wicked Witch Racing and will be Driver Autograph Night.

On behalf of Thunderhill I would like to give a huge thanks to Sheila Turner of Wicked Witch Racing for allowing us to reschedule Nathan’s race on her night.

Drivers will still get in the pits “FREE” on June 25. All IMCA division winners will be racing for extra pay. The IMCA Modified will pay $750 to win and has also been designated as a qualifier for the 2011 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars race for $500 to win and a guaranteed spot in qualifying for the Sunoco Race Fuels Race of Champions, during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Cenex. Karl Chevrolet Northern Sport Mods race for $300 to win and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $250.

PEDAL PUSHERS BREAST CANCER FUND RAISER AT THUNDERHILL MAY 28

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) May 23 – ThunderHill Raceway will host the 2nd Annual Pedal Pushers Breast Cancer Fund Raiser on May 28 brought to you by Palmer Johnson Inc.

Last year they started taking sponsors and donations and decided to donate it all to Breast Cancer research and awareness. With everyone’s help they were able to raise money for the “Susan G Komen Cure Foundation” which is a nationally based organization to fight breast cancer.

The 2011 Pedal Pusher Breast Cancer Fund Raiser will be in full swing as the girls will be riding their bikes 18 miles from Forestville to the races in Sturgeon Bay. They are accepting sponsors and donations that will be given to a local breast cancer foundation. They are asking anyone who purchased a shirt to wear it this Saturday to the races at Thunderhill. Thunderhill Races CANCELED for 5/21

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) May 21 – Persistence showers force Thunderhill Raceway to cancel for the third time in four weeks.

The Nathan Bouche Memorial Night will be rescheduled and will still have the drivers get in free and larger pay. A full press release will follow next week.

IMCA winners get bigger payouts at Thunderhill’s Nathan Bouche Memorial

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) – Winners will get bigger shares of IMCA feature purses paid at this week end’s Nathan Bouche Memorial at Thunderhill Raceway.

The Saturday, May 21 main event for IMCA Modifieds will pay $750 and has also been designated as a qualifier for the 2011 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. (Sturgeon Bay, WI) May 18 – The International Motor Contest Association better known as IMCA has come aboard as associate title sponsor for the 3rd Annual Nathan Bouche Memorial at Thunderhill Raceway which will take place this Saturday May 21. Any driver racing that evening will get in the pits free.

IMCA is the oldest active automobile racing sanctioning body in the United States. IMCA currently sanctions 5 tracks in North East Wisconsin and has been with Thunderhill for 19 years. IMCA became involved after talks with Thunderhill track promoter Bryan “Woody“ Wodack . This isn’t the first time IMCA has reached out to support one of its sanctioned tracks, from programs that help feed needy families during the holiday seasons to all the proceeds of the annual golf tournament at the Super Nationals goes to local charities. IMCA just announced that the Deery Series will work with a local charity for children’s cancer research called Karsyn’s Krusaders which was formed for Karsyn Miller a 5 year old girl who was diagnosed with High Risk Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) May 16 – Prestige Yacht Coatings Thunderhill Raceway to host the 3rd Annual Nathan Bouche Memorial this Saturday May 21. Any and all drivers who show up to race at 1/3 mile clay oval will receive a free pit pass and full pay at the end of the night. This is also a full points night for all IMCA divisions, Street Stocks and Feisty Fours.

Last year all donations went into resurrecting the IMCA Stock Car that Nathan would have driven. Nathan’s father Tony Bouche will once again race the #27 car for this weekend. Persistent showers have the made the track workable and we don’t want to wreck the track or cars just for the sake of racing.

SPECTATOR ELIMINATOR TO START AT THUNDERHILL MAY 14 / RULES AND REGULATIONS

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) May 10 – Ever wish you had the chance to race around the 1/3 mile clay oval but don’t have the budget to own a race car, well here’s your chance. The Woody’s Signs Spectator Eliminator is set to kick off this Saturday May 14 at Prestige Yacht Coatings Thunderhill Raceway.

Drivers will be able to compete for a minimum cash price of $80 in a winner takes all race. Cars and or trucks will be lined up on the front stretch and will receive the green flag from a dead stop. They will race around for one lap, first one back to the checker flag wins. If there are more than two vehicles we will go into a elimination style format until there is one winner.

There will only be two vehicles racing at a time. Races will take place at the end of the night. Drivers to pay a $15 entry fee along with a $20 pit pass. All entry fees will be put in the winners purse for the night along with $50 courtesy of Woody’s Signs.

THE DRAFT HAUS TO HOST IMCA HOBBY STOCK NIGHT @ THUNDERHILL MAY 14

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) May 9 – The Draft Haus Sports Bar and Banquet Hall will host IMCA Hobby Stock night at Prestige Yacht Coatings Thunderhill Raceway this Saturday May 14.

Time permitting we will have driver introductions before the IMCA Hobby Stock main event. Saturday nights after the races the Draft Haus offers anyone with a paid wristband a free mug of beer or free rail mixer.
